We have had a busy summer so far with festivals both in the UK and Spain. There are photos and fan videos from our recent Spanish trip on our Facebook page. Click on the Facebook icon at the bottom of this page to go there. In September we're off to play some dates in Ireland, including the Beamish Cork Folk Festival. We're really looking forward to it! A return to Spain is on the cards for November and plans are already underway for our return to Clarksdale next April to play at the 2012 Juke Joint Festival. We've been listening to some live recordings sent to us by fans and decided to share some of them with you. They weren't professionally recorded, just captured on small hand-held devices straight to stereo, warts and all, but we think they are fun and give a flavour of the duo and band live. A belated Happy New Year to everyone out there. Hopefully you have all recovered by now and are in full swing with your plans for 2011. Our plans include a new album, more gigs in Spain, a full band mini tour in Mississippi in April and festivals near and far. At the moment we are busy writing songs for the new album and it's looking like it will be a mix of full band tracks and acoustic duo numbers, maintaining that balance of the previous two albums which all of you seem to love. |
